Updated: Nov 24, 2024

LEO Africa would like to inform all volunteers that due to the Covid-19, we are currently closed.

The lock down in South Africa will end on the 30th of April 2020 but there will still be travel restrictions between provinces, the South African borders will remain closed as well as many businesses.

We are keeping updated with the Covid-19 developments and as soon as we will be able to accept volunteers again, we will inform you immediately.

We kindly ask volunteers who are due to come in the next future to contact us (in order to reschedule dates) and we highly encourage everyone not to cancel but rather postpone the trip. LEO Africa solely relies on the volunteers income, help in the field and at base.

The LEO Team keeps operating in the park to continue our monitoring and conservation work as much as we can, mainly using our solar powered vehicles to reduce costs and to embrace sustainable living in every aspect of our lives.

Do not hesitate to contact us for info, future bookings and... for a chat if you feel too!

We will keep sharing some interesting facts and updates from the bush to keep you company in this tough period. Follow us on our social medias (www.facebook.com/LEO.Africa and Instagram: leo_africa) for the latest updates, quizzes and... competitions!
