Volunteer Life

Volunteers at LEO Africa assist us with our vital work for reserve.

LEO Africa is an independent organisation that provides a free service to the reserve, collecting and analysing incredibly valuable data on key species and contributing towards conservation work. Many reserves in South Africa can not afford to monitor their wildlife as it would be too expensive. Thanks to our project and the contribution of the volunteers, the reserve benefits from our services and management is able to get a precise insight into what is happening in the reserve.

As a volunteer, you will help us in three different aspects: economically, in the field and at base. 

​

LEO Africa does not receive any funding from the government, the reserve or any other institutions and are solely reliant on the contribution from our volunteers and donors.
