LEO Africa is reopening its doors to volunteers!

Updated: Nov 21

This might be the happiest news of the year! Finally, after 2 years of closure, LEO Africa is reopening its doors to volunteers in a New Location!

SAVE THE DATE: 5th of JUNE 2022

(scroll down to learn more)

Plenty of news:

- LEO Africa will be based on the pristine and recently proclaimed Abelana Game Reserve, a Big 5 Game Reserve close to Phalaborwa and the Kruger National Park

- LEO Africa will be the first dedicated wildlife monitoring and conservation team on the reserve: this means that we will have to discover the reserve from scratch and create all ID kits of the key species! How exciting is this?!

- Arrivals and Departures will change respectively to Sunday (A) and Saturday (D)

- Transfers from/to Johannesburg OR Tambo are organised by LEO Africa on alternate weeks (included in the price!)

- We are keeping 2020 prices for all 2022!

- So much more!

What will you be involved with?

- Wildlife Monitoring

- Conservation Work

- Camera Traps

- Bush Walks

- Sleep Outs under the stars

- Data Collection

- Microlight flights over the reserve

- Anti-poaching support

- Sustainable living education

- Excursions to the Kruger Park and Panorama Route

- So much more!

All this in a beautiful and pristine game reserve, with breathtaking views, rivers, koppies and thriving wildlife!
