Dear past and future volunteers,

As many of you may know, due to the Covid-19 outbreak, our project is currently closed to volunteers.

Without you our vital conservation and monitoring efforts are severely limited, as a result we are reaching out to our followers to assist us in these challenging times. Currently our team is down to a skeleton crew to ensure the base runs and our essential conservation and monitoring work is continued. To this purpose we are mainly relying on our solar and electric vehicles to operate in a more sustainable capacity.

As you can’t be here with us in person… We thought about having you join us digitally, through our new “Volunteer from Home” program!

What is "Volunteer from Home"?

This idea was born recently as we were monitoring our cheetahs in the park. We thought of how much more rewarding it was when we could share this experience directly with you, and of how important your work is in making our project a success.

Therefore we would like to offer you the opportunity to join us and become a “Volunteer From Home”, completing exciting and informative tasks that only LEO volunteers have exclusive access to.  You will also receive new educational content and rewards. We want to make you feel part of our project even though we are far apart! From the comfort of your home, you will travel with us to the African bush, learn new, interesting skills, and have a positive impact on conservation.

All of this for a small contribution. The more “Volunteers from Home” that subscribe, the greater the assistance for our on-going efforts.

If you wish to know more please fill in the details box below and/or follow this link and we will send you all the details and forms required to participate in this great experience!
