Ready to volunteer in South Africa? To participate in some conservation volunteer work in Africa's wildlife haven?

There are three ways to submit your application to volunteer with LEO Africa:
  1. Apply online with our secure application form - recommended for speed, security and reliability. Please note: When you launch the online application form you may get a security warning. This is normal and you can safely accept our security certificate. See About the Online Application Form Security Warning for more information.
  2. Download the application form and email the completed form to us.
  3. Download the application form in PDF format, print it, and post the completed form to us (not recommended because we have a slow postal service).

About the Online Application Form Security Warning


When you apply online, your information is encrypted to prevent malicious interception of your personal information. We use a shared encryption certificate that is issued by our ISP; for this reason a warning message will tell you that the certificate comes from an unknown source. It is totally safe to proceed at this point and your information cannot be viewed or changed by anyone.

Fees
The volunteer programme runs throughout the year. The minimum volunteer duration is 2 weeks and the maximum is 12 weeks; if you are staying for six weeks or longer you qualify for Field Guide Level 1 training and certification.
